Jeanette Abdell

Jeanette is a professional dancer and choreographer currently working in NYC. Her focus is in contemporary, tap and commercial work, with recent project credits in dance for film, and performances at Dixon Place and Peridance Capezio Center. She is Pilates certified and is active in spreading knowledge and cross-training methods to dancers. Jeanette is passionate about young performers finding the core of what fuels their love for dance, and discovering how to tap into that beyond the motions of choreography and technical prowess. Her contemporary style is a fusion blend with emphasis on dancer's awareness, artistry, and athleticism, and her tap style is rhythm based, exploring the subtleties of our bodies as an instrument for sound integrated with the physical dynamics of show. Before living in the Big Apple, she performed on the high seas with Disney Cruise Line as a main stage dancer and Dance Captain aboard the Wonder and Dream. She received her BFA in Dance Performance from University of California Irvine, and has performed in the Bay Area with Garrett+Moulton Productions and LEVY dance Company. She is also currently on the roster of Dance Competition Judges with Impact Dance Adjudicators.


Jacqueline Bal

Jacqueline is a dance educator/choreographer/producer with over 30 years of experience. After graduating California State University, Los Angeles with a B.A in Theatre Arts & Dance, she moved to NYC where she became a scholarship student at the Broadway Dance Center. While studying at BDC Jacqueline was hired to co-direct the children's dance program. Her students have appeared in commercials, at Disney World, on Broadway, numerous television shows, and as Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. Also a performer, Jacqueline has danced in live industrials for Suave shampoo with the star of Modern Family, Sofia Vergara and Jacqueline also recently performed on the Rachael Ray Halloween Special with Rachael Ray, Pee Wee Herman, and magicians Penn & Teller and on the Regis and Kelly Show with Kelly Ripa and Nick Lachey. As a choreographer, Jacqueline assisted teacher/choreographer, Sheila Barker on a show starring tap legend Savion Glover, entitled “Invitations to a Dancer” at the Joyce Theater in NYC. She recently choreographed the opening number with Jerry O’Connell for the Rachael Ray show’s first episode of the 6th season and was thrilled to be asked back to choreograph Rachael Ray’s 1,000th episode with Regis Philbin and Rosie O’Donnell. As a producer, Jacqueline has assisted on dance segments for Good Morning America, the Today Show, the Food Network, and many more. In 2011 Jacqueline was especially proud to be part of a group known as “The People of Godspell” who along with Davenport Theatricals, had the pleasure of bringing the revival of Godspell to the Broadway stage. Jacqueline was voted one of the most popular judges/instructors by “Dance Spirit Magazine”. One accomplishment that Jacqueline is especially proud of is the creation of "Dance Dice", a unique game/teaching tool for teachers to use in class with their students. She is also currently on the roster of Dance Competition Judges with Impact Dance Adjudicators.


Kaydee Colobella-Francis

Kaydee has a rich and diverse background in dance. Following in her Mother’s and Sister’s footsteps; Kaydee founded The Dance Zone in Henderson Nevada with co-owner Jami Artiga in 2002. As a dance educator, she is trained in the R.A.D, Focused Flexibility, Tempo-Level-Energy, Paula Morgan, and Twinkle Star curriculum. Kaydee believes every student can achieve their dreams through dance and has helped many students achieve these dreams. Prior students can be found in a wide array of professional dance jobs highlights include: NFL & NBA dance teams, Rockettes, Cirque Du Soleil, Disney and multiple National Broadway Casts. They also can be seen in commercial work dancing for Nicole Scherzinger, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez. Many students have been cast in roles for film and television including the season 3-Winner of So You Think

You Can Dance. Kaydee’s students have also found success in the company world with Body Traffic, Cedar Lake, Thodos, Tanya Peres Salas Co., UDG-Vietnam, Fonts and Staats Theater Co. Kaydee is grateful for all the opportunities and relationships her dancing has brought her and is eager to give back by helping others find their success.


Lisa Karlin

Lisa's career began in her hometown of Overland Park, KS and has taken her to Broadway and points in between. Most recently, Lisa ran away with the circus on the first national tour of Pippin. She has had the pleasure of performing the role of Leading Player over 100 times! Lisa had her Broadway debut with the revival of Ragtime (Emma Goldman u/s). Other Broadway credits include The Addams Family where she understudied the role of Wednesday Addams. Some of her New York credits include the reading ofAnastasia with the legendary Angela Lansbury, as well as her creation of Sam Peterson in the original American musical Empire. Lisa has had the pleasure of touring internationally with the 25th anniversary tour of Cats playing Demeter and understudying Grizabella. In addition, Lisa has worked extensively throughout regional theater, including The Paper Mill Playhouse, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Sacramento Music Circus, The MUNY, Kansas City Starlight, The Shakespeare Theater Company, and many more! Her favorite roles include Florence Vassy in Chess, Eva Peron in Evita, Velma Kelly in Chicago, and the Homeless Woman in A New Brain. She is also currently on the roster of Dance Competition Judges with Impact Dance Adjudicators.


Tara Foy 

She is a world renowned ballet mistress and master teacher. She has trained numerous company artists from prestigious ballet companys such as The Royal Ballet, New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and the San Francisco Ballet to name a few. She was the guest ballet mistress for Celine Dion’s A New Day in Las Vegas. She has been the resident ballet mistress for The Phantom Of The Opera, Twyla Tharp’s Dance With Me, and Cirque Du Soleil. Currently she is the ballet mistress and repetiteur for Nevada Ballet Theater.

Jasmine Beaulieu

Also known as Miss Jazzy B, began her dancing career at the young age of 8 in Los Angeles, California where she was trained in the styles of jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap and musical theater by some of the industry’s most notable choreographers. After booking her first professional dance job at the age of 13, Jazzy B’s unmatchable stage performance and dance talents have since led her to be featured on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Dance Spirit Magazine, in music videos, winning pageant titles, in numerous promotional ad campaigns and commercials for major brands such as Spotify, Fabletics and Beach Body. While receiving her bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Marketing from Cal Poly Pomona, Jazzy B realized her passion for mentorship and developing talent in youth and creating arts curriculums. As a choreographer she has worked with dance studios and school dance teams earning numerous choreography awards and national championship titles. She also takes pride in mentoring many of her students in their dance careers to be signed to top dance agencies and featured in professional industry work. As a dance educator she has created, implemented and taught arts education curriculums throughout the prison system in California, Uganda and United Kingdom, focusing on using dance as a universal language of creative expression. Today Jazzy B works as a choreographer, national adjudicator, professional dancer and an all around dance educator. Her high-energy approach and philosophy as a teacher places each dancer’s mindset as a priority so that their confidence will exude outwardly through their movement and uses her role to translate dance into lessons to make her students both better dancers and promotes their artistic individuality.Jasmine is also currently on the roster of dance competition judges with Impact Dance Adjudicators.
